Ingredients:
- 200g fresh sushi-grade tuna, finely diced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped spring onions
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- 1 ripe avocado, diced
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Diced tuna, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, honey, spring onions, and sesame seeds should all be mixed together in a bowl
Toss the tuna gently to cover it all
Add salt and pepper to taste to make the food taste better
To keep the avocado from turning brown, mix it gently with lime juice in a different bowl
Fill a ring mold half way to the top with the tuna mixture and set it on a serving plate
Add some diced avocado on top
Take off the ring mold slowly to reveal the beautifully layered tartare
If you want, you can add more sesame seeds and spring onions as a garnish
