Ingredients:
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons milk
- Chopped fresh chives optional
Instructions:
Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk them together with the milk
Season with a pinch of salt and a dash of pepper
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat and add the butter
Allow it to melt and coat the bottom of the pan evenly
Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and let it cook undisturbed for a few seconds until the edges start to set
Gently stir the eggs with a spatula, pushing them from the edges towards the center
Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until the eggs are mostly set but still slightly runny
Remove the skillet from the heat and let the residual heat finish cooking the eggs to your desired level of doneness
Be careful not to overcook them, as they will continue to cook a bit even after removing from the heat
Season with additional salt and pepper to taste, and sprinkle with chopped chives if desired
Serve the best scrambled eggs hot and enjoy!
