Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/4 cup diced pickles
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lettuce and tomato slices for garnish
Instructions:
Preheat your grill or stovetop griddle to medium-high heat
In a bowl, combine the ground beef, diced onions, and a pinch of salt and pepper
Mix well and form into four burger patties
Place the burger patties on the grill or griddle and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness
During the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty and cover to melt
While the burgers are cooking, toast the hamburger buns on the grill until they're lightly browned
In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard to create a special sauce
Assemble your burgers by spreading the special sauce on the toasted bun bottoms, placing the cheese-topped burger patty on top, and adding diced pickles, lettuce, and tomato slices
Top with the other half of the bun
Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Seattle Spring Hill Burger!
